Rules and Regulations
1. Your website must send out a newsletter to a list of opt-in subscribers at least once weekly.
2. Absolutely NO SPAM! Anyone proven to be sending out unsolicited email will be immediately suspended. If
no proper explanation can be given, membership will be deleted.
3. This is a CLEAN swap list. No adult or pornographic sites allowed. Sites are subject to approval - "Let's Make A Swap"
reserves the right to reject sites for objectionable material, violation of any "Let's Make A Swap" rules, etc.
4. Ad must be placed in top 25% of newsletter. Ad text must be at least 10 point font.
5. You must run the ad within 7 days of receiving the swap assignment. If you become ill, go on vacation, or cannot
run your newsletter for any reason, please email us at letsmakeaswap@cox.net so we don't send you a swap/run your ad for that time.
6. Each member must agree to run at least one ad per week. At this time, only one ad per week is offered; however, this
may increase in the future as the membership continues to grow.
7. A copy of the ad must be sent to the appropriate email address if requested. Violation of this rule will lead to two
(2) warnings, then deletion of membership.
8. "Let's Make A Swap" is a free service. You will never be charged for any services at any time. You will never
be asked for any payment or credit card information.
9. All members agree to run an ad for Let's Make A Swap, in addition to their regular weekly swap ad, when called on
to do so. This occurs on a rotation-basis, everyone takes a turn, one member per week. Currently, that equals about once every
4 months. If you cannot run 2 ads in one week, you can choose not to run your regular swap ad for that week; however, you
won't get a reciprocal ad, as Let's Make A Swap does not have a newsletter.
10. Rules are subject to change at our discretion. Whenever possible, any rule changes or new policies will be
voted on by all current members, majority rules.
